Pancakes With Santa
The Friends of the King Family Library (FOKFL) raises money to support the library's media needs and programs.One of our favorite fund raisers the FOKFL is our Pancakes with Santa! Through the years we have struggled to find anyone who would fill the role of Santa.
This year (2024) we hit the jackpot with Mr. Jones, or, as we call him, Santa. He embodies Santa in his every day life! Then he dons his Santa suit and magic happens! He had the hundreds of children and their parents enthralled as he sat for over three hours visiting with each person, handing books to all children and spreading goodwill to everyone. He was lauded with A+++ ratings by everyone who visited that Saturday morning for the biggest turnout we have ever had!
When he answered our plea, we had no idea we were getting the best Santa ever!
We are already looking forward to next year with Mr. Jones as Santa!
